Project Description: 3.1 Million square foot office building (Project limited to a 4-level basement to support the balance of the WTC). Tower 2 was an iconic building design by Norman Foster, it was conceived as 90-story tower standing 1,270 feet tall encompassing 2.8 million leasable square feet. After the tower was unable to anchor a tenant the project was halted. The four-level basement was a necessary utility and structural support for the entirety of the World Trade Center.
